Welcome to Brighton Choirs
Brighton Choirs encompasses the choir programs at Brighton High School and Scranton Middle School.
We offer opportunities for students to learn, grow and explore the vocal arts through classes, concerts, field trips, and extra-curricular opportunities; including classical chamber ensembles, student-led a Cappella groups, competitions, and performances.
We are dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming space for all students to experience a wide range of musical styles. The program is driven by the interests of the students, whose exploration opportunities include solo and group pop performances, musical theater, classical solo, and classical choral.
Groups from BHS have competed at the state, national, and international levels. We have performed in venues including Hill Auditorium, The Empire State Building, The Grand Ole Opry, and St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome, Italy.
The community is welcome to our free concerts at Brighton Center for the Performing Arts as well as our ticketed events, which raise money for the program.
